Lumo Fit for badminton programs

Fueling that shows up in the third game

Lumo Fit turns a sports dietitian's plan into every meal and every between-match snack, at the club, in the hall and on the road, then sets what players actually ate next to the match, training and sleep data your coaches already collect.

    The gap

A tournament day is singles in the morning, doubles after lunch and mixed in the evening, with half an hour between some of them. What a player eats in those gaps comes out of a sports bag.

Lumo Fit gives every player one living fueling plan, carried into the sports bag and lined up against what happens on court.

    Between matches≈ 45 min
    On court across the day≈ 3 h
Four matches, three disciplines, one day. The gaps between them decide the evening's mixed doubles.
    Only in badminton

Tournament-day turnarounds. Singles, doubles and mixed on one day: four matches, short turnarounds, and a plan for each gap.

The draw decides the gaps, and the gaps can be thirty minutes or three hours. The plan has to be written for both before the first serve.

    What it is

A tournament-day plan per player that reads the draw. Each gap gets a snack and a bottle sized to its length and to the match just played: a short turnaround gets fluids and a small carb dose, a long one gets a meal. The bag is packed from the dietitian's list the night before, and the plan updates as results come in and the next match time moves.

    Why it matters in badminton

Badminton rallies are short and explosive, matches run long in warm halls, and a tournament day stacks several of them across singles, doubles and mixed with gaps nobody controls. Players who do not plan eat too much before a short turnaround or nothing before a long one. There is no pro or varsity level in this country, so the club or the program is the only staff a player has.

    • 21 pointsto win a game, best of three, often with several matches a day across disciplines.
    • Up to 4matches on one tournament day across singles, doubles and mixed. Each gap is planned.
    • 30–60 g/hof carbohydrate is the standard guidance once the day's play runs past an hour.

    FAQ

Questions from coaches and program staff. Anything else, email us.

Yes. Badminton has no pro league or varsity level in this country, so Lumo Fit for badminton is written for clubs, high-performance programs and college club teams. The waitlist is open to any program with players who compete.

Lumo carries a plan that a qualified sports nutrition professional sets and approves; it does not write one on its own. If your program works with a consulting dietitian, they set the targets. If not, tell us when we reach out and we will discuss what is possible.

Consent comes first and, for minors, from a parent or guardian. A parent-facing summary shows the plan and the day's fueling without medical detail, and nothing is used to train models.

Lumo for badminton clubs, high-performance programs and college club teams. It turns the dietitian's fueling plan into meals, menus and nudges for players and the team kitchen, and lines intake up with the performance, sleep and medical data your staff already collects.

We're building first-party connectors for the tools performance staff use most: player tracking and load, sleep and HRV wearables, force plates, body composition, lab results and athlete management systems. On our list: Catapult, Firstbeat, KINEXON, Polar, Sportlogiq, league tracking data, Teamworks, Gatorade Gx, Dexcom, WHOOP, Oura, Hawkin Dynamics, VALD, InBody, Hologic DXA, Kitman Labs, Edge10, LifeLabs, Garmin and Apple Health. None of these are partnerships yet. Tell us your stack when we reach out and we'll prioritise it.

Access follows the role. Dietitians and medical staff see labs and body composition; strength and conditioning sees fueling next to load; coaches see readiness summaries. Players see their own plan in the Lumo app.

No. Your dietitian sets the targets and approves the plan. Lumo carries it into every meal, on the road too, and brings the signal back before it becomes a problem.

No. The team, the players and every number in the demo are fictional, generated for illustration. Player portraits are AI-generated and do not depict real people. When we work with a team, we build their preview on their own roster, privately.
