Lumo Fit for college volleyball staff

Fueling that shows up in the fifth set

Lumo Fit turns your dietitian's plan into every meal, on campus, in the gym and on the road, then sets what players actually ate next to the jump count, practice load and sleep data your staff already collects.

    The gap

Your staff counts every jump and every set played. What the middle blocker ate between Friday night's match and Saturday morning's still lives in a hotel-lobby group chat.

Lumo Fit gives every player one living fueling plan, carried into the team room and lined up against what happens on the court.

    Only in volleyball

The tournament weekend. Three matches in two days, fueling windows between them, and overnight recovery sized to the jump count.

A five-set match on Friday night, two more on Saturday. The front row jumps a hundred times a match. The plan has to survive a hotel.

    What it is

A weekend plan that reads the schedule and the jump counts. Each match has a between-matches window and an overnight recovery block, sized per player to the sets and jumps played. The hotel breakfast order, the gym cooler and the bus snack come out of the same plan, so a middle who played five sets is not fed like a libero who played two.

    Why it matters in volleyball

Early-season tournaments stack matches into two days, and a five-set match can run two and a half hours. Jumping is where the load is, and the front row carries most of it. Recovery between a late match and a morning match is a short overnight window in a hotel, which is exactly where a plan that lives in a spreadsheet stops working.

    • 3 in 2matches in days on a typical early-season tournament weekend.
    • 100+jumps per match for front-row players is common in tracked matches. The recovery block is sized to it.
    • 1.0–1.2 g/kg/hof carbohydrate in the first four hours after a match when the next one is close.

From the jump-tracking devices your staff already uses, if you connect them. Without a feed, the plan uses sets played and the dietitian's per-player defaults, and the front row still gets the larger recovery block.

The recovery meal after the late match is planned before the bus leaves the gym, and the breakfast order goes to the hotel the night before, per player. Nobody decides anything at 7 a.m.

Yes. Weekday matches and practices are planned around each player's class blocks, and travel days are their own day type. Programs inside an athletic department should also look at the college page, which adds a department view across every sport.

Lumo for college volleyball programs. It turns the dietitian's fueling plan into meals, menus and nudges for players and the team kitchen, and lines intake up with the performance, sleep and medical data your staff already collects.

We're building first-party connectors for the tools performance staff use most: player tracking and load, sleep and HRV wearables, force plates, body composition, lab results and athlete management systems. On our list: Catapult, Firstbeat, KINEXON, Polar, Sportlogiq, league tracking data, Teamworks, Gatorade Gx, Dexcom, WHOOP, Oura, Hawkin Dynamics, VALD, InBody, Hologic DXA, Kitman Labs, Edge10, LifeLabs, Garmin and Apple Health. None of these are partnerships yet. Tell us your stack when we reach out and we'll prioritise it.

Access follows the role. Dietitians and medical staff see labs and body composition; strength and conditioning sees fueling next to load; coaches see readiness summaries. Players see their own plan in the Lumo app.
