Targets per player and per day type: pool-play days, dual matches, practice and travel. Lumo turns them into meals, menus and nudges.
Lumo Fit for college beach volleyball staff
Fueling that shows up in the third set
Lumo Fit turns your dietitian's plan into every meal, on campus, under the tent and on the road, then sets what players actually ate and drank next to the jump, heat and sleep data your staff already collects.
Designed for the tools your staff already uses

Pool play is three matches in the afternoon sun with no substitutes. What each pair drinks between matches still depends on who remembered to fill the cooler.
Lumo Fit gives every player one living fueling plan, carried into the tent and the cooler and lined up against what happens on the sand.
Sand and sun pool play. Sweat-loss and sodium plans per pair, and a cooling and fueling routine for every gap between matches.
Two players, no substitutes, afternoon sun. The pair that loses two percent of body mass by the third match is the pair that loses the third match.
A pool-play plan built per pair and per player. Sweat testing sets each player's fluid and sodium targets; the day's forecast scales them; and each gap between matches has a routine: weigh, drink to the plan, cool, eat something the stomach accepts in the heat. The cooler list for the tent is generated from the whole roster's plans before the first serve.
Beach is played outdoors, usually in the hottest part of the day, on sand that reflects heat, with two players who cannot be substituted. Fluid loss is the limiting factor more often than energy, and the two players in a pair can sweat at very different rates. A plan that treats the roster as one group fails one player in every pair.
- 0.5–2 L/his the range of sweat rates measured across athletes exercising in the heat. Two players in a pair can sit at opposite ends.
- 2%body-mass loss from fluid is the level at which performance starts to fall in the heat.
- 21 pointsto win a set, best of three, with no substitutes to share the load.
Sweat and hydration figures from the 2016 joint position stand on nutrition and athletic performance. Your dietitian sets each player's actual targets.

Pool play vs Coral Point
It's 12:20 on a Saturday under the tent, match one done and match two at 13:00. Step into the shoes of the team dietitian with forty minutes to cool, weigh and refill every pair.
- Flip through every pair and each player's fueling and fluids
- Switch roles: dietitian, S&C, athletic trainer or coach
- Explore how fluid loss correlates with third-set output
- See the connected sources behind every number

Every player at a glance

Carbs before first serve, hydration and sweat sodium, laid out around the player, with a fuel plan score: how today's intake tracks the plan your dietitian set, 0 to 100.

See what fueling moves

Fluid loss across pool play against third-set serve speed. Bottle sodium against cramp reports. Cooling breaks against second-match jump height. Lumo lines intake up with the data you already collect and shows how strong each relationship is, with the sample size next to it, so your staff draws the conclusion.
Every pair, one screen

Which pair is behind on fluids before the next match, who needs sodium, who is down two percent on the scale. Coaches get readiness; medical detail stays with medical staff.
Menus the chef can cook from

Pre-match meals on campus, the tent cooler list for the day and hotel orders on the road, all calculated from each player's targets. Players see their plate in the Lumo app.

From a sweat test your dietitian or athletic trainer runs, and from weigh-in and weigh-out on match days if you do them. The forecast scales the plan per day; the test sets the baseline per player.
Small, cold and familiar. The plan uses the short list your dietitian approved for the tent and keeps the larger meal for after pool play. Fluids and sodium come first.
Yes. Weekday practices and travel days are planned around class blocks. Programs inside an athletic department should also look at the college page, which adds a department view across every sport.
Lumo for college beach volleyball programs. It turns the dietitian's fueling plan into meals, menus and nudges for players and the team kitchen, and lines intake up with the performance, sleep and medical data your staff already collects.
We're building first-party connectors for the tools performance staff use most: player tracking and load, sleep and HRV wearables, force plates, body composition, lab results and athlete management systems. On our list: Catapult, Firstbeat, KINEXON, Polar, Sportlogiq, league tracking data, Teamworks, Gatorade Gx, Dexcom, WHOOP, Oura, Hawkin Dynamics, VALD, InBody, Hologic DXA, Kitman Labs, Edge10, LifeLabs, Garmin and Apple Health. None of these are partnerships yet. Tell us your stack when we reach out and we'll prioritise it.
Access follows the role. Dietitians and medical staff see labs and body composition; strength and conditioning sees fueling next to load; coaches see readiness summaries. Players see their own plan in the Lumo app.
No. Your dietitian sets the targets and approves the plan. Lumo carries it into every meal, on the road too, and brings the signal back before it becomes a problem.
No. The team, the players and every number in the demo are fictional, generated for illustration. Player portraits are AI-generated and do not depict real people. When we work with a team, we build their preview on their own roster, privately.
