Targets per player and per day type: game, practice, travel and back-to-backs. Lumo turns them into meals, menus and nudges.
Lumo Fit for pro and college hockey staff
Fueling that shows up on the ice
Lumo Fit turns your dietitian's plan into every meal, at home, at the rink and on the road, then sets what players actually ate next to the skating load, sleep and lab data your staff already collects.
Designed for the tools your staff already uses
Plugs into your stack, so nobody re-types a number.Connectors in development for tracking and load, sleep and HRV, force plates, body composition, labs and athlete management. Logos are trademarks of their owners and do not imply partnership.
Your staff measures load, speed, sleep and blood work to the decimal. Fueling, the thing players do five times a day, still lives in spreadsheets and group chats.
Lumo Fit gives every player one living fueling plan, carried into the team kitchen and lined up against what happens on the ice.
Intermission top-ups. Carbs and fluids planned period by period, sized to the shifts each player just skated.
Two breaks of fifteen to eighteen minutes are the only chance to refuel inside the game. Lumo plans both, per player, from the tracking feed.
A game-day timeline with a slot for each intermission. Every player gets a bottle and a snack sized to their sweat test and to the shifts they just played, and the plan updates as the game goes: a defender who logged 9 minutes in the first gets a different second-intermission slot than one who logged 4.
Hockey is a sprint sport played in a cold building where players still sweat heavily under their gear. Carbs taken in during a game of more than an hour help hold late-period output, and the third period is where most tight games are decided. The gap between intermission and the next shift is short, so the plan has to be ready before the horn.
- 15–18 minper intermission, twice a game. The only in-game fueling windows.
- 30–60 gof carbohydrate per hour is the standard guidance for events longer than an hour.
- ≈ 1.8 L/hsweat rate measured in pro players during an on-ice practice in a published study.
Carbohydrate guidance from the 2016 joint position stand on nutrition and athletic performance; sweat figure from a peer-reviewed study of professional players. Your dietitian sets each player's actual targets.

See what fueling moves

Pre-game carbs against 3rd-period speed. Net body-mass loss against high-intensity efforts. Recovery meal timing against next-morning HRV. Lumo lines intake up with the data you already collect and shows how strong each relationship is, with the sample size next to it, so your staff draws the conclusion.
The whole roster, one screen

Who is under-fuelled before tonight, who needs fluids before warm-up, who sweats out the most sodium. Coaches get readiness; medical detail stays with medical staff.
Menus the chef can cook from

Pre-game stations, portions at the pass and hotel orders on the road, all calculated from each player's targets. Players see their plate in the Lumo app.

From the tracking feed your team already has. Shift count and time on ice per period come in as the game goes, and each player's second-intermission slot is re-sized from the first two periods. Without a feed, the plan uses the dietitian's per-player defaults.
Yes. The same plan runs on a college schedule: class days, Friday–Saturday series and bus trips. Athletic departments with several teams should look at the college page, which adds a department view across every sport.
Back-to-backs are a day type with their own targets, and the recovery window after game one is planned before the bus leaves. On the road, the hotel order is built from each player's plan so the kitchen gets a list, not a guess.
Lumo for pro and college hockey teams. It turns the dietitian's fueling plan into meals, menus and nudges for players and the team kitchen, and lines intake up with the performance, sleep and medical data your staff already collects.
We're building first-party connectors for the tools performance staff use most: player tracking and load, sleep and HRV wearables, force plates, body composition, lab results and athlete management systems. On our list: Catapult, Firstbeat, KINEXON, Polar, Sportlogiq, league tracking data, Teamworks, Gatorade Gx, Dexcom, WHOOP, Oura, Hawkin Dynamics, VALD, InBody, Hologic DXA, Kitman Labs, Edge10, LifeLabs, Garmin and Apple Health. None of these are partnerships yet. Tell us your stack when we reach out and we'll prioritise it.
Access follows the role. Dietitians and medical staff see labs and body composition; strength and conditioning sees fueling next to load; coaches see readiness summaries. Players see their own plan in the Lumo app.
No. Your dietitian sets the targets and approves the plan. Lumo carries it into every meal, on the road too, and brings the signal back before it becomes a problem.
No. The team, the players and every number in the demo are fictional, generated for illustration. Player portraits are AI-generated and do not depict real people. When we work with a team, we build their preview on their own roster, privately.
