Targets per player and per day type: game day, two-a-days, tournament weekends and travel. Lumo turns them into meals, menus and nudges.
Lumo Fit for college water polo staff
Fueling that shows up in the fourth quarter
Lumo Fit turns your dietitian's plan into every meal and every bottle on the pool deck, on campus, at the pool and on the road, then sets what players actually ate and drank next to the swim volume, sprint and sleep data your staff already collects.
Designed for the tools your staff already uses

Nobody feels sweat in a pool. Your players lose fluid for four quarters and never reach for a bottle, and the first sign is a flat fourth quarter nobody can explain.
Lumo Fit gives every player one living fueling plan, carried into the deck cooler and lined up against what happens in the water.
Hidden sweat loss in the pool. Players sweat in the water without noticing. Weigh-in and weigh-out sweat rates and a drinking plan per quarter break.
The only way to know what a player lost in the water is to weigh in and weigh out. Lumo makes the scale the plan.
A sweat plan per player built from weigh-in and weigh-out on game days and hard sessions, corrected for what was drunk. Each quarter break and halftime has a bottle target on the deck, sized to that player's measured loss and the pool's temperature; two-a-days get the same plan at the session level. The deck cooler list is generated from the roster before the swim-off, and the team view shows who finished the last game down more than two percent.
Water polo is a sprint-and-wrestle sport played in warm pools, and the water hides the sweat so the thirst signal never arrives. Players routinely finish games dehydrated without having felt it, and two-a-days compound it across a week. Quarter breaks are two minutes, so the bottle has to be on the deck and the target has to be known before the game.
- 4 × 8 minquarters of play, with two-minute breaks, in a warm pool.
- Weigh in, weigh outis the only reliable measure of fluid loss in the water. Lumo turns it into a plan.
- 2%body-mass loss from fluid is the level at which performance starts to fall.
Hydration figure from the 2016 joint position stand on nutrition and athletic performance; game timings from the rules of the sport. Your dietitian sets each player's actual targets.

Weigh-in to weigh-out loss against fourth-quarter sprint counts. Pre-game carbs against late-game shot velocity. Deck bottle sodium against cramp reports in two-a-days. Lumo lines intake up with the data you already collect and shows how strong each relationship is, with the sample size next to it, so your staff draws the conclusion.
The whole roster, one screen

Who finished the last game down two percent, who needs the biggest deck bottle, who is under-fuelled for a two-a-day. Coaches get readiness; medical detail stays with medical staff.

A few times a season is enough to set each player's sweat rate for the pool and the season; Lumo asks for it on the days your staff chooses. Between tests the plan runs on the measured rate and the pool temperature.
Yes. The same plan runs on the women's game's timings, per player, and the deck list is built the same way.
Yes. Two-a-days, weekday games and tournament travel are planned around class blocks. Programs inside an athletic department should also look at the college page, which adds a department view across every sport.
Lumo for college water polo programs. It turns the dietitian's fueling plan into meals, menus and nudges for players and the team kitchen, and lines intake up with the performance, sleep and medical data your staff already collects.
We're building first-party connectors for the tools performance staff use most: player tracking and load, sleep and HRV wearables, force plates, body composition, lab results and athlete management systems. On our list: Catapult, Firstbeat, KINEXON, Polar, Sportlogiq, league tracking data, Teamworks, Gatorade Gx, Dexcom, WHOOP, Oura, Hawkin Dynamics, VALD, InBody, Hologic DXA, Kitman Labs, Edge10, LifeLabs, Garmin and Apple Health. None of these are partnerships yet. Tell us your stack when we reach out and we'll prioritise it.
Access follows the role. Dietitians and medical staff see labs and body composition; strength and conditioning sees fueling next to load; coaches see readiness summaries. Players see their own plan in the Lumo app.
No. Your dietitian sets the targets and approves the plan. Lumo carries it into every meal, on the road too, and brings the signal back before it becomes a problem.
No. The team, the players and every number in the demo are fictional, generated for illustration. Player portraits are AI-generated and do not depict real people. When we work with a team, we build their preview on their own roster, privately.
