Lumo Fit for pro and college basketball staff

Fueling that shows up on the second night

Lumo Fit turns your dietitian's plan into every meal, at the arena, on the plane and in the hotel, then sets what players actually ate next to the tracking, jump and sleep data your staff already collects.

    The gap

Your staff measures load, jumps and sleep on every player. What they ate after a late tip-off, on the bus to the airport, still lives in a group chat.

Lumo Fit gives every player one living fueling plan, carried into the arena kitchen and lined up against what happens on the court.

Back-to-back and travel recovery. A fueling plan that follows the schedule across time zones.

Late tip-off, red-eye, second game in 22 hours. The recovery window starts in the locker room and the plan moves with the team.

    What it is

The schedule is the plan. Lumo reads the next game's tip-off and the flight, then places the recovery meal, the in-flight snack, the hotel breakfast and the pre-game meal in local time for each player. Sleep from the wearables your staff already uses shifts the morning plan; a player who slept four hours gets a different day than one who slept eight.

    Why it matters in basketball

No other sport plays as many games in as many cities in as few days. The second night of a back-to-back is where fatigue shows, and the recovery window after game one is short: by the time the bus reaches the airport, the best hour for refuelling has passed. A plan that lives in the schedule is the only one that survives a road trip.

    • 22 hbetween a late tip-off and the next night's game in a typical back-to-back.
    • 1.0–1.2 g/kg/hof carbohydrate in the first four hours after a game when the next one is close.
    • 3 zonescrossed on a coast-to-coast trip. The plan is placed in local time, per player.

Yes, for men's and women's programs. The same plan runs on forty-minute games, class days and a conference tournament with three games in three days. Programs inside an athletic department should also look at the college page, which adds a department view across every sport.

Sleep comes from the wearables your staff already uses, if you connect them. A short night after a late tip-off moves the morning meal and adds a pre-nap snack; it never changes the dietitian's targets, only when and how they are met.

The in-flight snack is part of the plan, built from each player's targets and the flight time, and the hotel breakfast order is sent ahead so the kitchen gets a list, not a guess.

Lumo for pro and college basketball programs. It turns the dietitian's fueling plan into meals, menus and nudges for players and the team kitchen, and lines intake up with the performance, sleep and medical data your staff already collects.

We're building first-party connectors for the tools performance staff use most: player tracking and load, sleep and HRV wearables, force plates, body composition, lab results and athlete management systems. On our list: Catapult, Firstbeat, KINEXON, Polar, Sportlogiq, league tracking data, Teamworks, Gatorade Gx, Dexcom, WHOOP, Oura, Hawkin Dynamics, VALD, InBody, Hologic DXA, Kitman Labs, Edge10, LifeLabs, Garmin and Apple Health. None of these are partnerships yet. Tell us your stack when we reach out and we'll prioritise it.

Access follows the role. Dietitians and medical staff see labs and body composition; strength and conditioning sees fueling next to load; coaches see readiness summaries. Players see their own plan in the Lumo app.
