Targets per rower and per day type: race day, erg test day, two-a-days and travel. Lumo turns them into meals, menus and nudges.
Lumo Fit for college rowing staff
Fueling that shows up in the third 500
Lumo Fit turns your dietitian's plan into every meal, around dawn sessions, erg tests and regatta travel, then sets what rowers actually ate next to the erg, volume and sleep data your staff already collects.
Designed for the tools your staff already uses

Your staff knows every rower's splits and stroke rate. Whether a lightweight is making weight on food or on water, and whether the openweights are eating enough for two sessions a day, is a guess.
Lumo Fit gives every rower one living fueling plan, carried into the training table and lined up against what the erg says.
The lightweight weigh-in plan. Lightweights make weight before racing. A safe path to the scale and a refuel plan for the 2,000 m that follows.
A lightweight crew is weighed as a crew and as individuals, hours before a race that empties everything they have. The plan starts weeks out and ends on the start line.
A descent plan per lightweight from the dietitian's targets: a safe weekly rate, meals that hit it, and a morning hydration check so nobody makes weight on water. Race day has a timeline from the scale to the start: fluids and sodium first, then carbs the stomach accepts before a 2,000 m race, sized to each rower and the time available. Openweights get the other half of the plan: energy for two sessions a day, with the energy-availability screen on.
Rowing has both problems at once: lightweights with a limit to make, and openweights with some of the highest energy needs on campus. Lightweights who cut water race with less in the tank; a two-hour gap is enough to refuel if the plan is ready and the rower is not dehydrated. Openweights who under-eat through a winter of two-a-days lose the spring to illness and injury.
- 2,000 mis the race. About seven minutes at the limit, raced after the scale.
- 1–2 hbetween weigh-in and the start for lightweight crews at most regattas. The refuel timeline fits inside it.
- ≤ 2%body-mass loss from fluid is the line below which a rower should not arrive at the scale.
Weight limits and weigh-in windows differ by federation and event; your coaching staff and the regatta rules have the final word. Hydration figure from the 2016 joint position stand. Your dietitian sets each rower's actual plan.

Every rower at a glance

The descent line or the energy screen, this morning's hydration check and the refuel plan, laid out around the rower, with a fuel plan score: how this week's intake tracks the plan your dietitian set, 0 to 100.

Days on the descent line against erg split. Refuel carbs after weigh-in against the third-500 split. Energy availability against injury flags across the openweight squad. Lumo lines intake up with the data you already collect and shows how strong each relationship is, with the sample size next to it, so your staff draws the conclusion.
The whole squad, one screen

Which lightweights are above the line this week, who failed the morning hydration check, which openweights are under-fuelled for two-a-days. Coaches get readiness; weights and labs stay with the dietitian and athletic trainer.
Menus the chef can cook from

Training-table portions per rower, lightweight and openweight, the refuel kit for the scale and hotel orders for regatta weekends, all calculated from each rower's targets. Rowers see their plate in the Lumo app.

Questions from performance staff. Anything else, email us.
No. The plan is built on food and a safe weekly rate, weeks out. A failed hydration check pauses the descent for the day and tells the dietitian what to change. A rower who cannot make weight safely should not be in a lightweight boat, and the plan will say so to the staff.
They get the other half of the plan: energy and carbs for two sessions a day through the winter, with the energy-availability screen from the cross country page running for the dietitian and medical staff.
Yes, with the men's limits. Programs inside an athletic department should also look at the college page, which adds a department view across every sport.
Lumo for college rowing programs. It turns the dietitian's fueling plan into meals, menus and nudges for rowers and the team kitchen, and lines intake up with the performance, sleep and medical data your staff already collects.
We're building first-party connectors for the tools performance staff use most: rower tracking and load, sleep and HRV wearables, force plates, body composition, lab results and athlete management systems. On our list: Catapult, Firstbeat, KINEXON, Polar, Sportlogiq, league tracking data, Teamworks, Gatorade Gx, Dexcom, WHOOP, Oura, Hawkin Dynamics, VALD, InBody, Hologic DXA, Kitman Labs, Edge10, LifeLabs, Garmin and Apple Health. None of these are partnerships yet. Tell us your stack when we reach out and we'll prioritise it.
Access follows the role. Dietitians and medical staff see labs and body composition; strength and conditioning sees fueling next to load; coaches see readiness summaries. Rowers see their own plan in the Lumo app.
No. Your dietitian sets the targets and approves the plan. Lumo carries it into every meal, on the road too, and brings the signal back before it becomes a problem.
No. The team, the rowers and every number in the demo are fictional, generated for illustration. Rower portraits are AI-generated and do not depict real people. When we work with a team, we build their preview on their own roster, privately.
