Targets per player and per day type: doubleheaders, single games, practice and travel. Lumo turns them into meals, menus and nudges.
Lumo Fit for college softball staff
Fueling that shows up in game two
Lumo Fit turns your dietitian's plan into every meal, on campus, at the field and on the bus, then sets what players actually ate next to the practice load, bat speed and sleep data your staff already collects.
Designed for the tools your staff already uses

A weekend series is three games in two days, the second and third often back to back. What your pitcher eats in the forty-five minutes between them still comes out of a cooler nobody planned.
Lumo Fit gives every player one living fueling plan, carried into the dugout cooler and lined up against what happens on the field.
The doubleheader window. Two games, one 45-minute gap, and a plan for each player sized to what each player just played.
The pitcher who threw seven innings and the pinch runner who stood in the dugout do not need the same snack. Lumo sizes the window per player.
A between-games plan that reads game one: innings played, pitches thrown, the temperature on the field. Each player gets a bottle and a plate for the gap, sized to each player's targets and game, with the heaviest refuel for the pitcher and catcher. The plan is on the cooler list before the first game ends.
The season is built on doubleheaders and weekend series, often in spring heat, and the gap between games is too short for a normal meal and too long to ignore. A pitcher may throw both games. The players who did the most in game one have the least time and appetite to refuel, which is exactly when a plan has to be ready for them.
- ≈ 45 minbetween games of a doubleheader, after the handshake and before warm-up.
- 7 inningsper game, often three games across a Friday–Saturday series.
- 1.0–1.2 g/kgof carbohydrate in the first hour after game one when game two is close behind.
Recovery carbohydrate guidance from the 2016 joint position stand on nutrition and athletic performance. Your dietitian sets each player's actual targets.

Game-one refuelling against game-two sprint times. Fluid loss in the afternoon heat against late-inning accuracy. Breakfast timing against first-game readiness on travel days. Lumo lines intake up with the data you already collect and shows how strong each relationship is, with the sample size next to it, so your staff draws the conclusion.

Who is under-fuelled before game two, who needs fluids before warm-up, who sweats out the most sodium. Coaches get readiness; medical detail stays with medical staff.

That pitcher's between-games plan is the largest on the roster and starts the moment game one ends: fluids and sodium first, then carbs that go down in a dugout. The plan also flags when the second game pushes the pitcher over the day's target so the dietitian can adjust the evening.
Yes. The weekend is planned as one block: Friday's single game, Saturday's doubleheader, the bus home and Sunday's recovery, around the class schedule your athletes already keep. Programs inside an athletic department should also look at the college page.
From every player's between-games plan combined: bottles, sodium, fruit and the few foods your dietitian approved for a dugout. It prints before game one so the manager packs what the plan needs.
Lumo for college softball programs. It turns the dietitian's fueling plan into meals, menus and nudges for players and the team kitchen, and lines intake up with the performance, sleep and medical data your staff already collects.
We're building first-party connectors for the tools performance staff use most: player tracking and load, sleep and HRV wearables, force plates, body composition, lab results and athlete management systems. On our list: Catapult, Firstbeat, KINEXON, Polar, Sportlogiq, league tracking data, Teamworks, Gatorade Gx, Dexcom, WHOOP, Oura, Hawkin Dynamics, VALD, InBody, Hologic DXA, Kitman Labs, Edge10, LifeLabs, Garmin and Apple Health. None of these are partnerships yet. Tell us your stack when we reach out and we'll prioritise it.
Access follows the role. Dietitians and medical staff see labs and body composition; strength and conditioning sees fueling next to load; coaches see readiness summaries. Players see their own plan in the Lumo app.
No. Your dietitian sets the targets and approves the plan. Lumo carries it into every meal, on the road too, and brings the signal back before it becomes a problem.
No. The team, the players and every number in the demo are fictional, generated for illustration. Player portraits are AI-generated and do not depict real people. When we work with a team, we build their preview on their own roster, privately.
